Marquette collaborated on a 392 team score Friday afternoon at the 51st Annual Pat Ford Invitational hosted by La Porte High School. The Blazers claimed 11th place out of 22 competing teams. Of the six schools present that will compete in next Thursday's IHSAA Sectional at Beechwood Golf Club, Marquette finished second. Senior Marissa Pleasant fired an 81 (+8) to guide the Blazers. She scored a 37 on the back nine, followed by a 44 on the front. Junior Alaïs Acosta shot a steady 97 with a 49 on the front complemented by a 48 on the back. Junior McKenzie Bonez-Shepherd carded a 104, and senior Ava Schultz posted a 110. Marquette will return home Monday to host Trinity Academy South Bend at 4 pm CT at Michigan City Municipal North Course for its 2026 home finale.
